Nokia OZO: Virtual Reality Camera Worth $60.000

Announced in July of this year, Nokia OZO virtual reality camera is devoted for professionals in the film industry. Rapid movement of Nokia, the company has known as a giant cell phone manufacture opened OZO pre-order at the event in Los Angeles a few days ago. You need to prepare $60,000 on hand if you want to have the camera kit.

From the beginning, Nokia OZO is not intended for consumers, but for professional filmmakers who will wrestle with virtual reality. Nokia OZO comes with promising specifications, include the ability to record stereoscopic 3D video through eight synchronized global shutter sensors (2K x 2K resolution per eye). The camera is equipped with spatial audio by eight integrated microphone allows users to do live monitoring in real time by using a VR headset. You can see full specification below.

Nokia OZO can record at 30 frames per second rate with a Lithium Ion battery and is capable of recording with a duration about 45 minutes by the 500GB SSD capacity. Nokia will send OZO for consumers who are already pre order in the US started in the first quarter of 2016 and will be available for the global market soon.

Nokia hopes that Hollywood movie makers will choose Nokia OZO to create VR content for the consumer VR headset on the market.
