1992 – The First Metaverse Term
Neal released “Snow Crash,” a Novel that mentioned the Metaverse. This novel tells about a human as an avatar who can interact in a 3d virtual world.
In Neal’s version, the Metaverse is a virtual space that connects all virtual worlds through the Internet and augmented reality.
2003 – Second Life
The scientist Philip Rosedale and their team, Liden, Lab-created an online virtual world called Second Life. Second Life is Metaverse Games where you, as an avatar, can do anything activities in real life. Such as watching a movie, buying or selling stuff, listening to music, playing games, etc.
2006 – Roblox
Games Online named Roblox had introduced. In these games, users can create their virtual game world. Roblox is an online game platform that allows users to program and play games created by other users. Roblox is free to play. You can access it through a virtual currency called Robux.

Vietnam Sky Mavis studio developed Metaverse Game named Axie Infinity. Axie Infinity is an online video game based on NFT that users can use to fight, build, and hunt for treasure. Each Axie is unique and has qualities and strengths.
2021 – Microsoft and Facebook
Facebook and Microsoft have collaborated to develop the Metaverse. Facebook released a platform designed for virtual collaboration named Mesh, and Microsoft has changed the company name to Meta. They also reveal their plan to focus on developing the Metaverse.
